2018 to 2024 saw rise in insurance denials for brand-name drugs

Insurance denials of initial attempts to fill brand-name prescription drugs with no generic competitors increased by more than two-thirds from 2018 to 2024, according to a study published online in the Journal of the American Medical Association.
