Vaccine may ‘intercept’ pancreatic cancer before it starts

An investigational vaccine that targets common KRAS mutations induced durable immune responses among individuals at high risk for pancreatic cancer, results of a phase 1 clinical trial showed.Eighteen of 20 participants achieved KRAS-specific T-cell responses.
