Who is responsible
The controller responsible for data processing on this website is the publisher named in our Impressum. For privacy questions, contact privacy@ipharmag.com.
What we collect
We keep data collection to a minimum. Depending on how you use the site, this may include:
- Server logs — your browser sends technical data (IP address, browser type, time of request) that our hosting provider records for security and to operate the site.
- Cookies & similar storage — see the section below.
- Account data — if you register for iPharmag Intelligence, we store the email address and login details you provide.
Cookies & consent
By default we set only essential storage needed to run the site (for example, remembering your cookie choice and, if you log in, your session). We load analytics and advertising cookies only after you consent via our cookie banner, using Google Consent Mode v2. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer.
Analytics
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which content readers find useful. IP addresses are anonymized. Without consent, analytics storage stays disabled.
Advertising
We display ads through Google AdSense. Without consent, ads are limited to non-personalized advertising; with your consent, Google may use cookies to personalize ads. You can learn more and manage settings at Google's Ads policies and Ad settings.
Email we send
If you register for Intelligence or request a report, we use your email address to send verification, access, and the material you requested. We do not sell your email address.
Third parties
Data may be processed by service providers acting on our behalf or as independent controllers, including our web host and Google (Analytics, AdSense). These providers may process data outside your country; where required, appropriate safeguards apply.
Your rights
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and comparable laws, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, email privacy@ipharmag.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority.
Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by law. Account data is kept until you ask us to delete it or close your account.
Changes
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the site or the law. The "last updated" date above shows the current version.
